"We need to teach our kids to read, write and speak Arabic," he added, "and stop looking so American." Reporters did notice a slight change in Senator Kerry's...

A young Iraqi boy sells Mazola corn oil on the streets of Baghdad. The U.S. invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq has resulted in many Western influences, leading the Iraqi people toward diets that involve the deep frying of french fries, onion rings, mushrooms, chicken wings, and potato skins topped with cheese and bacon bits.

"It really was no contest at all," said one of the judges of this year's Joan Crawford look alike contest, "Out of the hundreds of entries, we were able to spot the winner right away." Many of the contestants cried fowl because this years winner did not happen to be female. However it did not state in the contest rules that it was mandatory that entrants be female. Some didn't even notice. The winner expressed later that it was a wonderful honor to have been chosen for such a prestigious...

Ever since they had taken possession of the White House, something was quite strange. Nearly every time that President George W. Bush or the First Lady, Laura would make their way past the celler door of the White House, they would notice a strange odor present. Mrs. Bush had tried just about everything that she could think of to rid the area of the harsh smell that seemed to be emerging from the celler. She tried scrubbing it out. She tried spraying it out. She even tried shouting it out. Stil...

BAM, IRAN also called, "The City of Mud" Karimi was a very broken man as he stood there in the street holding his small daughter, Nazenine in his arms. The night before, Nazenine had just finished a drawing that she had made for her Papa and he was tucking her into bed for the night when she gave him four kisses. "Why four kisses," Karimi asked her? A new report just out states that Saddam did indeed bravely try to defend himself against capture by spitting on a U.S. soldier when he was pulled from his hiding place. The officer then retaliated by promptly striking the opposed dictator with either his fist or the brunt of his gun riffle and knocking him to the ground. One of Saddam's daughters had claimed all along that her father would not have given up without a fight. "They probably drugged him or sprayed him with pepper spray to dis...

I would like to know just what it is about a nativity scene, that when someone drives by in their car and sees it, that it causes them to get all worked up? I don't find the religious symbols of others offensive. It just makes me feel glad to know that other people are celebrating something that makes them happy. I once went to the Greek Orthodox church with my good friend, Nicholas Leonnodis Sarakatasannis. We'll call him Nick for short. Although, I knew ...

Small towns and large cities alike flourish everywhere. There is one thing that I heard on the news about America the other night though, that really ...

Why is it that so many are so quick to point the fingure at the rich folks? People are always looking for someone to lay blame to. Why are we so quick to condemn and so slow to commend? It is the rich that create jobs for the less fortunate so that they can earn an honest living and have a quality standard of life. It is the few elite who are continually giving their money and their time to help raise money for needy organizations and medical break throughs so that we can enjoy better health and...

Though the United States has declared an end to its major assult on the government of Saddam Hussien, loyalists to the old regime have continued to menace the clean- up and rebuilding operations of the coalition. These parasites have suddenly found themselves living worse off than the poor wretched common people of Iraq that they had formerly dominated. Hiding underground, unable to work and secure a way to meet a good living standard for their families, they have reverted to the obstruction of ...
