I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the JU Awards. I wish there could actually be some kind if real prizes handed out. Who knows maybe the next time there can be. I think though, that just the recognition is a good thing. It lets the bloggers know that they are appreciated by others.
I have put quite a bit of time into this but it has been worth every minute just knowing that everyone has enjoyed it.
I will be checking on the emails only to see how many there are however, I am not going to open any of them up or peek at the votes until just before I post them so even I will not know who the winners will be. I have already decided on the ones that I am voting for and am also emailing my votes in just as everyone else will be.

I think that being nominated is already a reward in itself... it show that you are part of the community and that what is the more important....

I agree with Jepel. It means someone has taken notice and you have somehow made an impression. It's a compliment.

i was just tickled pink to see my name on the list of nominees.....i didn't think anyone knew who i was or that anyone took an interest in what i wrote...

..but like jepel says, it really is a reward in itself just to be nominated!
